As the National Hunt season begins to gather pace, our monthly Best Horse Racing Tipster leaderboard shortlists some of those services that have finished 2024 with a flourish and look capable of taking their recent success into the new year and beyond.

After bursting into the Tipstrr limelight as Best New Tipster runner-up in October (55% ROI), Best 2 has now completed seven straight profitable months since launching in June, all thanks to an ability to identify each-way value from the middle of the betting market.
Finishing the month with a 16/1 winner put the icing on a month that had already yielded 16 winners and 12 places from 68 selections - enough to secure a best-yet 57% monthly ROI and a deserved spot among our horse racing elite.
7th Tigger
- 35 tips, 94.8% ROI, £663 profit
In seventh spot, Tigger boasts the highest monthly ROI of our top ten tipsters, and would have finished higher, but for some less impressive returns from his 50/50 mix of race-winner and each-way tips during the preceding period.
That said, it’s hard to ignore any tipster capable of plonking over £600 profit into the betting bank from just 41 selections, and this free service (for now, at least) might just be worth monitoring through the early months of 2025.
6th HorseForaCourse
- 38 tips, 59.2% ROI, £450 profit
While unable to match the 102% ROI that earned top spot in October’s rankings, HorseForaCourse bounced back from a rare drawdown month in November to make yet another appearance on our monthly leaderboard.
Behind his relentless upward-trending profit line is a professionally-run service geared towards identifying overpriced horses at tasty odds, a strategy all the more impressive for operating without the benefit of an each-way safety net.
5th Statometer
- 61 tips, 60.5% ROI, £738 profit
No stranger to these rankings in the past, Statometer has enjoyed mixed fortunes this year, but December’s 60% yield has signalled a welcome return to the kind of form that peaked in the summer, when July’s whopping 121% yield followed hot on the heels of June’s 98%.
A mixture of race-winner, each-way, accumulator and exotic bets should please punters who enjoy a diverse approach, while a long-term 20% win rate means that the next winner should never be more than a few bets away.
4th Rich Bets
- 97 tips, 61.9% ROI, £1,201 profit
A quick glance at the climbing profit line of Rich Bets says it all for the relentless consistency of this tipster’s proven each-way strategy, which has suffered just two small monthly drawdowns since launching in May 2023.
December’s 11 winners, priced between 18/1 and 10/1, were probably enough to return a profit on their own, but an additional 21 each-way places helped take those returns to a best-ever 61% monthly yield.
3rd Underdog Racing Tips

Indeed, December was the 17th of those 23 lucrative months to have exceeded 30% ROI, thanks to a 22% each-way strike rate (12 winners, 19 places from 137 tips), with 25 of those 31 successful tips priced at 20/1 or higher.
2nd TC’s Punts
- 197 tips, 66.3% ROI, £2,612 profit
Occupying the runner-up spot, TC’s Punts boasts a knowledge of his preferred National Hunt racing that has finally been rewarded with five straight months on incrementally increasing profits, culminating in December’s stellar 66% return.
This success is very much built upon a willingness to explore the entire betting market for best value, with December’s 39 winners matched exactly by 39 each-way places, including prices as wide apart as a 5/4 favourite and a 40/1 outsider.
1st Ken’s AllWeather
- 41 tips, 68.5% ROI, £561 profit
And so to our final monthly winner of 2024 in the shape of Ken’s AllWeather, who has finished the year with quite a flourish, with December’s 68% return following hot on the heels of similar success in September (79%) and October (41%).
Ken’s AllWeather has certainly hit the synthetic ground running over the last few months, with December’s 41 selections producing a couple of each-way places to back up a tidy seven winners (including a profit-boosting 22/1 shot), all indicating that this all-weather specialist is hitting form just as his preferred format dominates the long winter evenings.
So, congratulations again to Ken’s AllWeather for getting his nose in front of December’s high-quality field, and we also want to recognise the many other services who might not have made the frame this time around, but who nevertheless remain a valued part of the Tipstrr community.
