Meet April's best tipsters in other sports

Rounding off our monthly leaderboards, we’re happy to present April's Best Tipsters in Other Sports, which showcases a selection of high-performing services that put their focus on sports outside the mainstream horse racing and football markets.

If any of them match your own sporting interests, then just click on their name to reveal more information about those tipsters, including details of any discount offers that are currently available.

10th Spread Picks

  • 84 multi-sport tips, 12.0% ROI, £334 profit

We kick off with the multi-sport service of Spread Picks, whose expertise in his preferred sports in the US has produced a profit line during February (11.2% ROI), March (12.4%) and April (12%) that has barely wavered from its straight upward trajectory.

That’s all thanks to a discerning eye for betting value in spread markets covering ice hockey and basketball during the winter, and now with baseball just starting to enjoy its profitable hour in the summer sun.

9th WadsterTips

  • 65 tennis tips, 12.8% ROI, £166 profit

Tennis tipsters dominate this shortlist, and the first of our five aces is WadsterTips, who has been a valued part of the Tipstrr furniture on and off since late 2017, and his renowned tennis service has hit the ground running since rebooting at the beginning of the year.

Providing his usual array of varied bets across the whole range of tennis betting markets, April’s 47% win rate was all the more impressive for recommending average odds above 6/4, all adding up to a tidy 12% yield that marked his third straight profitable month.

8th Jurgen Tischer

  • 21 volleyball tips, 16.4% ROI, £69 profit

Volleyball is a new addition to Tipstrr’s diverse sporting menu, so we welcome the presence of Jurgen Tischer to April’s leaderboard, following his arrival from the Pyckio team, where he has been providing his professionally-run service for nigh on a decade.

Volleyball offers a niche pathway towards diversifying your betting portfolio, and Jurgen has improved that route with April’s 16% ROI, mainly thanks to his expertise in the Asian Handicap market.

7th The NBA Tipster

  • 36 basketball tips, 16.6% ROI, £119 profit

After a full eight years of consistent service, it never surprises us to see that The NBA Tipster has been giving the bookies another run for their money with his usual assault on basketball’s points spread betting markets.

Six straight profitable months speak volumes for this hardcourt specialist, whose overall 57% win rate climbed to an even more impressive 61% last month, combining neatly with the 10/11 moneyline to achieve April’s 16% ROI.

6th Tron

  • 56 basketball tips, 17.4% ROI, £194 profit

As stated on the profile page of basketball aficionado Tron, the service follows a simple premise - all Asian Handicap bets, all recommending the liquidity of Pinnacle, and all at recommended odds hovering just either side of the even-money line.

April’s 17% return followed hot on the heels of similar success in January (23% ROI), February (15%) and March (40%), completing a stellar start to the year that earned Tron a top-five berth in our quarterly Best Tipster rankings.

5th Spartan Bet

  • 225 multi-sport tips, 20.2% ROI, £908 profit

We enter the top five with Spartan Bet whose multi-sport service has experienced mixed fortunes over recent months before bouncing back to form with a best-yet 20% monthly yield that converted £20 stakes into over £900 of clear profit in April alone.

While he covers a mixed bag of sports, tennis has dominated in recent weeks, and that’s hardly surprising when his eye for value in that sport managed to achieve a 78% win rate by backing low-odds outcomes in various popular tennis markets.

4th OldGuy13

  • 61 tennis tips, 26.6% ROI, £324 profit

In fourth place, OldGuy13 is another welcome import from the Pyckio stable, providing an informed tennis service that has hit the ground running since joining the Tipstrr line-up earlier this year.

Focusing almost exclusively on extracting value from the ATP circuit, OldGuy13 explores all tennis markets to find the best value, and that mixture of diligence and eye for value has been rewarded with four straight monthly gains, culminating in April’s impressive 26% return.

3rd AnnaNass

  • 34 tennis tips, 29.2% ROI, £198 profit

After winning our monthly Best Tipster accolade twice last year and clinching top-seven positions in each of the previous two months, AnnaNass completes a hat-trick of appearances with a purple patch of form just in time for a busy summer of tennis action.

A selective output of around 5-10 tips per week should appeal to more moderate betting tastes, while an ability to identify value on the WTA and ITF circuits is clearly starting to reap sustained rewards, with April’s 29% ROI completing 10 double-digit monthly gains out of the last 14.

2nd Sports Bramble

  • 23 tennis tips, 46.7% ROI, £214 profit

This month’s runner-up spot is occupied by Sports Bramble, who is continuing the same impressive form that earned him top spot in our quarterly Best Tipster rankings a month ago.

Clearly an accomplished tennis tipster, SB isn’t afraid to show off his eye for value in ice-hockey markets, having broken the 20% profit threshold in both sports over the first three months of the year.

Sports Bramble has already kicked off the second quarter in style, with 16 winning bets from April’s 23 selections locking in another month with a profit line heading steeply in the right direction.

1st Jack Of All Trades

  • 34 tennis tips, 67.6% ROI, £459 profit

From a top five made up entirely of tennis tipsters, Jack Of All Trades finished top of the pile to grab the title of April’s Best Tipster in Other Sports.

His name might state that he’s a Jack Of All Trades, but anyone following this tennis service since the turn of the year will be happy that he appears to be a master of this particular one.

The service’s multi-tiered staking plan is designed to reflect betting confidence in each carefully-selected tip, which has in turn helped to maximise profits and mitigate losses very effectively during four straight profitable months, crowned by April’s best-yet 67% return.

The tipster’s knowledge of his preferred markets is illustrated by his itemised profits over the last three months, with Match Winner (19%), Over/Under Games (29%) and Asian Handicap Sets (39%) all combining their individual market returns to maintain an impressive 22% overall yield from 140+ tips since the end of January.

Congratulations again to Jack Of All Trades for heading April's leaderboard, and we hope to see this and other services featuring again on our Best Tipster leaderboards as we head further into 2025.

Please note: Any discount offer is for the first month of new memberships only, and cannot be claimed twice, nor is it available for existing members.
